The first time I came across a Brian Andreas print was in San Antonio, TX during a summer vacation with my family. I had high hopes for a hot, sunny, dangerous UV-index type day to aid my week's goal of coming back from vacation with that perfect sun kissed glow. Much to my disappointment, the morning was dreary and cool, rain clouds coming and going in the sky. My mom suggested we go for a stroll down the Riverwalk to check out the art shops. From shop to shop we went, examining beaded jewelry, paintings, and knick knacks. When we discovered the Brian Andreas story people, we must have browsed through the stories for at least an hour. Laughing over some, tearing up at others. Colorful, quirky, unique, honest. We didn't buy any that day, but it was a really special present when my brother and I purchased one for my mom for Mother's Day. When we finally exited the shop, the sun was in full force.
